GREETINGS!
My name is Daryn Baldwin, and I am a freelance graphic designer! I carry nearly eight years of experience under my belt in various forms of design, from traditional graphic design to a more underground scene. Going back in 2011, when I was a young buck in high school, I found myself interested in design when I created my first logo for my friend’s garage band. Now, this may have been on a whim to test out my newly purchased Wacom Bamboo tablet, but, I quickly found myself hooked when I saw the potential.
By the time I had to decide what to do after graduating high school I had already worked with around 200+ underground metal bands around the world, and I felt my future was made clear. Graphic design would be my path. With that settled, I decided to enroll in The Art Institute of Phoenix for Graphic Design, where I refined my design skills and made some good friends along the way. While enrolled I found myself becoming an employed student designer, creating collateral and event posters for the school, and graduated with the “best portfolio of the graduating class”.
Since graduation my I have continued working under the name "Glorious Gorification" working with countless bands to this day, and helped Phoenix Raceway (formerly ISM Raceway) setting up their consistent rebranding and expansion. I am now back on the freelance market due to covid hitting my field hard and looking for what my next journey will be!
